No Limit is my thesis film. It was created in TV Paint, Photoshop, and After Effects. It’s about a young man learning to play poker from an enigmatic teacher.
I did just about everything on this project apart from the score and the VO.
I created two animated sequences for the upcoming documentary “99’ Snapshots” by photographer and director Michael Berman.
This included creating character designs of recognizable music figures, illustrating the store, and animation.

This project was created in partnership with the NYC Department of Health while I was a college aide at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services in the City Graphics unit.
The initial design was my own, and I also storyboarded the entire piece. I created many of the assets myself in illustrator, and animated four scenes using After Effects and Toon Boom Harmony.
The first scene is the bowel prep container shaking with liquid inside, then the liquid pouring into the glass. The latter three scenes are the three instances of the orange character jumping up off the couch. These scenes use an inverse kinematics expression I created myself, and 3D objects animated using After Effects’ built-in tools.

NYC Hope is a campaign I designed and illustrated for the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender Based Violence. In conjunction with online advertising, bus shelter advertising was put up throughout the city. The ad will also appear on Link NYC kiosks.
“goodnight.” is a visual development exercise for an adaptation of Hamlet set in modern-day NYC. Character design was the main focus.
